Gold Coins

Gold Coins are the entertainment-only currency used for social gameplay at RiverMonster Casino. They let you spin slots, play fish shooting games, and enjoy other casino-style experiences without carrying prize value. Gold Coins are separate from promotional currency that can be redeemed for cash or gift cards, so think of them as chips for purely social play and practice.

How Gold Coins Fit the Sweepstakes Casino Model

Sweepstakes casinos use two distinct coin types: one for entertainment, and one for chance-based prizes. At RiverMonster Casino, Gold Coins serve the entertainment role. Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency you can play for a chance to redeem prizes. Both coin types may appear together in offers and store purchases, but they serve different legal and practical purposes: Gold Coins for social play, Sweeps Coins for prize eligibility.

How You Can Get Gold Coins at RiverMonster Casino

RiverMonster offers multiple legitimate ways to receive Gold Coins. Examples confirmed on the platform include:

• A no purchase sign-up package that grants 10,000 Gold Coins automatically after identity verification, with a 1x playthrough requirement.
• Daily login rewards called River Tide Daily Streak, which escalate from 1,000 to 5,000 Gold Coins per day based on consecutive logins.
• Purchase packages such as first-purchase and weekend bundles that include large Gold Coin amounts when you buy coin packages and enter the specified bonus code.
• Social media drops and prize wheel rewards that add Gold Coins when you qualify.

Claim methods and playthrough requirements vary by offer. Always check the promotion details before claiming.

Can You Buy Gold Coins?

Yes, RiverMonster sells coin packages that include Gold Coins. Several confirmed packages require minimum purchases—for example, the Monster Catch First Purchase requires a $9.99 minimum, and the Deep Water Weekend package requires a $49.99 minimum. Many purchase packages also include Sweeps Coins as a bundled bonus. Remember that promotion codes and single-promotion rules may apply, so follow the instructions exactly when completing a purchase.

How Gold Coins Are Used to Play Eligible Games

Gold Coins are used to wager on the entertainment versions of eligible games on the platform. When you select a game, the wallet or bet screen will show whether Gold Coins are accepted. Using Gold Coins lets you experience gameplay, features, and volatility without affecting your Sweeps Coin balance or prize eligibility—unless a specific promotion states otherwise.

Which Games Accept Gold Coins

Common game types that accept Gold Coins include:

• Slots and video slots
• Fish shooting games
• Many casual, social casino titles

Game eligibility can vary by title. Some table games, live dealer formats, or special promotional rounds may require Sweeps Coins or be excluded from Gold Coin play. Check the game’s play mode label or the game detail page before wagering.

Gold Coins vs. Sweeps Coins — Clear Differences

• Prize eligibility: Gold Coins hold no prize or cash value. Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency that can be redeemed for cash or gift cards after meeting playthrough and redemption rules.
• Purpose: Gold Coins are for social, entertainment gameplay. Sweeps Coins are for chance-based play that can lead to prize redemption.
• Distribution: Some offers provide both coin types together; others supply only Gold Coins or only Sweeps Coins.
• Playthrough: Sweeps Coins generally carry playthrough requirements before they become eligible for redemption. Gold Coins do not convert into redeemable prizes.

Do Gold Coins Have Cash Value or Redeemable Worth?

No. Gold Coins are strictly for entertainment and have no cash value. They cannot be redeemed directly for money or gift cards. Sweeps Coins are the only coin type on RiverMonster that can be redeemed for prizes, subject to eligibility, playthrough, and redemption minimums.

Can Gold Coins Be Converted into Sweeps Coins?

There is no automatic conversion from Gold Coins into Sweeps Coins. The platform may sell packages that include both types, or run promotions that award Sweeps Coins for qualifying activity, but direct exchanges or conversions from Gold Coins to Sweeps Coins are not a standard feature unless explicitly stated in an official promotion. Always check promotion rules before assuming conversion is possible.

How to Check Your Gold Coin Balance

You can view your Gold Coin balance after you log in to your RiverMonster Casino account. Balances and recent transactions are typically shown in your account wallet, cashier, or balance display. If you have questions about a specific credit, check the promotion’s confirmation message or contact support.

Do Gold Coins Expire?

RiverMonster’s published rules specify a 60-day inactivity expiration for Sweeps Coins, but Gold Coin expiration is not specified in the materials provided. Because expiration and inactivity policies can vary, consult the casino’s official rules or the specific promotion terms for any time limits that may apply to Gold Coins.

Limits, Restrictions, and Play Rules to Watch For

• Only one active promotion can be claimed at a time per purchase, and bonus codes must be entered exactly as provided before completing a transaction.
• Playthrough contributions vary by game: slots and fish shooting titles typically contribute 100% toward playthrough, while table games and video poker usually contribute less.
• Some purchase offers and promotional bundles have minimums and time windows, such as weekend-only availability or one-time use per promotion.
• Accounts found manipulating promotions or creating multiple accounts risk permanent closure and forfeiture of Sweeps Coins.

Does Gold Coin Gameplay Affect Sweeps Coin Balances or Prize Eligibility?

Playing with Gold Coins does not itself create Sweeps Coins or make you eligible to redeem prizes. However, many promotions award Sweeps Coins for purchases or for meeting specific activity thresholds. If a promotion explicitly credits Sweeps Coins for gameplay, those awarded Sweeps Coins will follow the platform’s playthrough and redemption rules. Always read promotion-specific terms to understand how gameplay and awards interact.

Gold Coins make it easy to enjoy the games and learn features without affecting prize balances.
